I am a new owner so don’t really know what I need to start. Do I need the NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course before I can take the Home Firearm Safety Instructor Course? Does this class include range lessons?
Hello Kathy!
If you are a new firearms owner, the best class for you is the FIRST Steps Pistol Course. It has the best mix of beginning firearms basics and the class is tailored specifically to the firearm you own.
If you are becoming an instructor, the Home Firearms Safety Instructors Course is a great start.
