Course Outline
This course includes the Basic Instructor Training (BIT), Student Personal Protection in the Home Course,
and Instructor Personal Protection Course.
Prerequisite
- Proof of shooting experience is required. This can be established by one of the following;
- NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate
- NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate
- NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card
- Military DD 214 with pistol qualification
- If you do not have one of the above you will be required to pass a

Please Bring the following Items With You To Class:
- Firearm (Revolver or Semi-Automatic)
- A minimum of 200 rounds of Ammunition
- Mandatory safety equipment: eye protection, ear protection, and billed cap
- Sack lunch as we may work through the lunch hour
- Check for NRA Certification Fees
- Writing materials to take notes
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
2. NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Student Course:
Dates: May 19th & May 20th, 2012
Times: Saturday & Sunday 9am-6pm
Cost: $150 with a required $75 deposit by May 16th to hold your spot.

Course Outline
The course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations
and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.
Students have the opportunity to attend this course using a quality strong side hip holster that covers
the trigger, or a holster purse. From a review of safe firearms handling and proper mindset to presentation
from concealment and multiple shooting positions, this course contains the essential skills and techniques
needed to prevail in a life-threatening situation.
This is a 14 hour course with extensive time on the shooting range
Prerequisite

- NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate
- NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card
- Military DD 214 with pistol qualification
- Completion of both parts (basic and advanced) Personal Protection In The Home
- We now require a non-refundable deposit on our courses. Mailing address and PayPal address will be provided upon sign up.
Please Bring the following Items With You To Class:
- Firearm (Revolver or Semi-Automatic)
- Strong Side Hip Holster that covers the trigger or a Holster Purse (These are the only allowable holsters)
- Two extra Magazines or Speed loaders
- A minimum of 300 rounds of Ammunition
- Mandatory safety equipment: eye protection, ear protection, and billed cap
- Sack lunch as we may work through the lunch hour
- Check for NRA Certification Fees
- Writing materials to take notes
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
